Although there were no fans in attendance due to pandemic regulations, playing at Madison Square Garden, the most premier venue in all of sports, allowed for Lafrenière to showcase his skills in front of the entire NHL world as he tallied a shot on goal, a hit, a block, and even spent two minutes in the penalty box while skating on ice for just over 15 minutes.
