Casey Mittelstadt was drafted 8th overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres. He went on to sign a three-year entry level contract and scored his first NHL goal on April 6, 2018. In his rookie season, Mittelstadt recorded 12 goals and 13 assists. The talented American born center is turning into a young star for the Sabres.
