After getting selected fifth overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, point guard Darius Garland is quickly rising as one of the NBA’s top talents. On February 20, 2022, Garland had the opportunity to suit up in his first All-Star Game on his home floor in Cleveland. Garland’s All Star appearance came in just his third season and he sure made the most of this opportunity. The night after helping lead Team Cavs to win the Skills Challenge, Garland shined in the All-Star Game by putting up 13 points with three 3-pointers in a victory for Team LeBron. He finished his All-Star year with 21.7 points and 8.6 assists per game. Garland’s talent has him poised to make more All-Star teams for years to come.
