De’Aaron Fox was born on December 20, 1997, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Fox played collegiate basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before entering the NBA. Fox was chosen fifth overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 2017 NBA Draft. During his rookie season, he averaged 11.6 points, 4.4 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game. Fox signed a maximum contract extension with the Sacramento Kings in 2020. Fox had a spectacular year in 2022-23, helping the Kings reach their first playoff appearance since the 2005-06 season.
