The Edmonton Oilers were honored by the Hockey Hall of Fame for their success in the 1980s by being granted dynasty status. Key players from Wayne Gretzky on offense, to Paul Coffey on defense to Grant Fuhr in the net made this team incredible. The Oilers won five Stanley Cups during this decade. Each player featured on this banner is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame and has had their number retired by the Oilers. Between these five players there are 23 Stanley Cup championships.
