At just 20 years old, Jalen Johnson is a five-star recruit out of Duke University who is just getting started in the NBA.  A first round pick in the 2021 Draft, Johnson was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks and started his professional basketball career with their G League affiliate the College Park Skyhawks.  Johnson impressed with the Skyhawks averaging 22.5 points per game during the regular season and 20.1 points per game during the 12 game Showcase Cup.  Defensively, he averaged just under 10 rebounds per game in both the regular season (9.8 defensive rebounds per game) and the Showcase Cup (9.9 defensive rebounds per game).  While Johnson would spend much of his first season with the College Park Skyhawks his impressive numbers with the G League affiliate forced the Hawks to give him time on the NBA squad, he would start the 2022-2023 season on the Atlanta Hawks roster.
