Upper Deck Authenticated continues to produce some of the world’s most innovative sports memorabilia, and our line of miniature backboards goes right in line with that directive. So far, UDA has produced backboards for Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Allen Iverson, Shaquille O’Neal and Kevin Love. Hall of Fame guard Jerry West gets the treatment now. This piece features seven action images of West printed on acrylic. The centerpiece is the autograph that sits in the middle of the shooter’s square. West has also inscribed “Mr. Clutch” below the signature for UDA’s first inscribed backboard. An actual breakaway rim is attached to the backboard to give it a scaled version of an actual backboard. A solid silver frame gives the piece the look of a classy backboard and gives the full piece a measurement of 30.5” x 18.5”. Please note that this is not a toy. It should not be played with. The autograph is signed in paint pen with a thin 1/16” layer of acrylic covering the piece to protect the signature. West has autographed and inscribed this limited edition (25) “Mr. Clutch” backboard in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
