Description
Before the ABA merged with the NBA in 1976, it featured some of the world’s most dynamic basketball players, including 6-foot-7 UMass guard-forward Julius Erving. With his massive hands that could easily palm a basketball, Dr. J would showcase amazing athletic moves on a nightly basis. He started his ABA career with the Virginia Squires before joining the New York Nets in 1973. He spent three seasons with the Nets before the merger. He earned or shared league MVP honors all three seasons in New York. Erving has autographed and inscribed “ABA MVP ’74, ’75, ’76” on this limited edition (32) 1975 New York Nets authentic Mitchell & Ness jersey in black paint pen. His signature and inscription are deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
