Suiting up for a team with USA across the jersey is a familiar feeling for Keldon Johnson. In 2017, he was a member of the USA Men’s Junior National Team for the October minicamp. In 2018, he was named to the USA Junior National Select Team for the 21st annual Nike Hoop Summit. It was only fitting for him to be named to the 2020 Men’s National Team and compete in the Tokyo Olympics. Johnson faced a challenging path to the USA Team as he first started on the Select Team, a group that helps train the Olympians. In Johnson’s time with the Select Team, he showcased his playmaking ability and basketball IQ to earn himself a roster spot on Team USA. Despite being the youngest player on the roster, he competed in four games. Johnson would obtain his gold medal after USA defeated France 87-82 in the final game. This Molten basketball is autographed and inscribed “2020 Gold Medal” by Keldon Johnson with a black paint pen. Johnson’s signature and inscription were witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process. This item is limited to 120.
