Description

On Valentines’ Day, 1990, one of the most peculiar situations in NBA history arose. While on a road trip to Orlando, Michael Jordan had his No. 23 jersey stolen just hours before game time. The Chicago Bulls didn’t have a backup jersey for him, so the Bulls staff scoured the crowd looking for a No. 23 jersey that would fit Jordan’s 6-foot-6 frame. After having no luck, the Bulls pulled out their last-resort choice, a No. 12 jersey with no name on the back. Although it may have thrown off the crowd, it had no effect on Jordan’s game as he finished with 49 points. It was the one and only time Jordan was seen repping the No. 12. Jordan has autographed this 1990 Chicago Bulls red No. 12 authentic Mitchell & Ness jersey in silver paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
