Perhaps no athlete has had as much of an impact on the culture of sport outside of the arena than Michael Jordan. The arrival of the Air Jordan shoe in 1984 signaled a shift in the way we looked at fashion and the overall culture of sport. More than three decades later, each new release of Air Jordans is not only popular and profitable, but it draws interest from potential buyers and sneaker heads worldwide. This release, which came on Feb. 29, 2020, is the Air Jordan Retro 1 High OG in a rich pine green colourway. This is the second Air Jordan 1 to utilize pine green. The first, which dropped in September 2018, flipped the popular “Bred Toe” color blocking scheme.
This pair is autographed, limited to 23 and comes in its original box. Please note: the shoebox comes in the original shape in which it arrived from the factory to Upper Deck. Jordan has autographed these limited edition (23) Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High pine green and black shoes in silver paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
