Description
Although making the jump from amateur to professional hockey isn’t the easiest transition for most, Quinton Byfield took full advantage of being drafted first overall by the Sudbury Wolves in the 2018 OHL Draft and his work on the ice soon seemed effortless. During his rookie year, Byfield hit a hot streak where he recorded 14 points in just six games and used this momentum to carry him and his team towards a 26 game turnaround and a conference semifinal appearance in the playoffs. On this run, Byfield scored 29 points and assisted on 32 goals in just 64 games and was honored to win both the OHL and CHL Rookie of the Year awards.
