On August 10, 2014 Rory McIlroy shot a final round 68 to finish the tournament at -16 par. His one stroke victory enabled Rory to capture his second PGA Championship. In one of the most interesting Sundays in recent major history, McIlroy was able to fend off three of the biggest names in golf on the back nine to earn his fourth major championship. Rory’s final par in near darkness sealed the victory and fueled controversy over how the last hole played out.
