Along the coast of the South China Sea sits the city of Guangzhou. This is where Shanshan Feng was born and where she started playing golf with her father at the age of 10. At a young age she would spend a couple hours at the driving range every day during the week while spending weekends playing practice rounds at courses outside of the city. She eventually started winning, capturing three consecutive China Junior Championships before hoisting the trophy in the 2006 China Women’s Amateur Open. At that moment, she took the risk that would pay off for the rest of her life. She moved to the United States to attend a junior golf academy while trying to qualify for the LPGA Tour. She eventually accomplished that goal, earning a spot on the Tour for the 2008 season. Four years later, she earned her first victory on the LPGA Tour with a win in the Wegmans LPGA Championship, a major tournament. She spent 23 weeks ranked No. 1 in late 2017 through early 2018. This design features a look at an illuminated Guangzhou at evening time. Feng is shown driving a ball as well as following through on an approach shot during the 2018 LPGA Tour season. Feng has autographed this limited edition (25) “Guangzhou City Skyline” 30” x 24” designed image in black paint pen. Her signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
