Shanshan Feng was ranked 10th in the Women’s World Golf Rankings heading into the 2012 Wegmans LPGA Championship at Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, New York. She hadn’t won on the LPGA Tour since debuting in ’08. After the third round of the tournament, she was tied for seventh place. And then she had the round of her life. Feng shot a bogey-free 67, five strokes under par, to win by two and capture her first LPGA Tour tournament and, obviously, her first major. It was the 17th major tournament of her career. Her previous highest finish in a major was 22nd. The win put her at the No. 5 spot in the rankings. Five years and eight Tour wins later, she finished the year ranked first, a spot she held for 23 weeks well into the 2008 season. Feng has autographed and inscribed “72-73-70-67—282” on this limited edition (50) 2012 LPGA Championship pin flag in black paint pen. Her signature and inscription are deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
