Born in Guangzhou in the province of Guangdong on the South China Sea coast, Shanshan Feng has always held a great deal of pride in her homeland. She left China as a teenager without knowing much English after being offered a scholarship to attend Gary Gilchrist’s junior golf academy in Hilton Head, South Carolina. She turned pro in 2007 and joined the LPGA Tour in ’08. When she first earned her Tour card after her impressive showing in the final stages of Q-school, she became the first player in Tour history from mainland China. Feng committed to living in the United States from the get-go, but she honors her native country every chance she gets. In 2018, the LPGA Tour added an event in Shanghai as the Buick LPGA Shanghai debuted at Qizhong Garden Golf Club. Feng finished tied for 20th. Feng represented China in the 2016 Olympic Game in Rio de Janeiro and earned a bronze medal. In this design, the beautiful nighttime skyline of Shanghai is shown in all its splendor. Feng is shown driving a ball from the 2015 Buick Golf Championship in the foreground. Feng has autographed this limited edition (30) “Shanghai City Skyline” 30” x 24” designed image in silver paint pen. Her signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
