In the 2009 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors selected Stephen Curry with the seventh pick of the first round. Curry fell to the seventh pick because teams worried about his speed and size. Little did they know that they passed on a player that revolutionized the NBA with his three-point shot. Curry debuted against the Houston Rockets and scored 14 points shooting 7-12 from the floor. Curry went on to make 166 three-pointers that year which broke the rookie record for most three-pointers in a rookie season. Curry has continued his legacy with the Warriors winning multiple championships and setting the all-time record for three-pointers in the NBA.
