Stephen Curry signed a contract with Under Armour in 2013. His first signature basketball sneaker did not hit the market until 2015. Soon after Stephen Curry was named NBA MVP for the 2014-2015 season, Under Armour announced the release of a special black and gold edition of the UA Curry One to commemorate his achievement. Curry wore this black and gold colorway against the Grizzlies in the Western Conference semifinals in 2015. The Warriors advanced to the NBA Finals by defeating the Houston Rockets in five games. That season, Curry was voted an All-Star, All-NBA First Team, and NBA MVP, and his performance in the Finals helped the Warriors win their first title in 40 years.
Curry has autographed this pair of limited edition (30) Under Armour Curry 1 High Retro shoes in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
