Description
Japanese golf fans came by the thousands to watch the first-ever PGA Tour-sanctioned event on their home soil when the pros came to town for the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP in October 2019. What they didn’t anticipate was being part of history even bigger than the event itself. Tiger Woods led the event wire-to-wire and captured his 82nd PGA Tour victory, which tied Sam Snead for the all-time lead. It was a strange tournament at times as a torrential rain wiped out the second round. In the final round Monday, he birdied 18, finishing 1-under for his final seven holes to defeat hometown hero Hideki Matsuyama by three strokes. Sungjae Im (65) and Rory McIlroy tied for third.
Woods has autographed this limited edition (500) 2019 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP pin flag in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
