Michael Jordan is among the most well-known figures in the world, and despite the fact that he hasn’t played basketball since 2003, he continues to inspire new generations of basketball players and spectators. Jordan played 15 seasons in the NBA and finished his career with 32,292 points, 5,633 assists and 6,672 rebounds. Jordan has received numerous individual honors and awards, including five Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, ten All-NBA First Team selections, nine All-Defensive First Team honors, fourteen NBA All-Star Game appearances, three All-Star Game MVP Awards, ten scoring titles, three steals titles, six NBA Finals MVP Awards, and the 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. Among his many achievements, Jordan owns the NBA records for the greatest career scoring average in both the regular season (30.12 points per game) and the playoffs (33.45 points per game). Jordan retired in 2003, and in 2009, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
